DrakeWise started as a tech company by Thomas R. Bloom designing and developing smart home and smart office furnishings in early 2017.  Toiling out of a small shop in Delaware, Bloom took his designs to Silicone Valley to immerse himself in the tech world.  After consulting with industry giants Google, AWS, Samsung, Zoho, and more, DrakeWise Technologies discovered an exciting opportunity in the field with vast room for advancement.  Innovative film making was the future. 
DrakeWise Technologies moved to Colorado, hired fifteen new employees, and applied its tech skills to designing and implementing an array of custom video production equipment.  However, to test the applicability of this equipment in the market, a bold forward, thinking production company was needed.  From that need, DrakeWise Productions was formed.  
Within a year, DrakeWise Productions bootstrapped itself into video production immediately capturing the attention of independent film makers.  Pouncing on the open opportunity created by a void of high-end professional film production in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area, DrakeWise Productions opened a branch in Alexandria, VA.  There, the DWP team produced over 50 social media videos, 10 event videos, 4 music videos, 1 short film, 2 feature films, 15 commercial videos, and co-produced 2 feature films for individual and corporate clients. Their films currently have 17 award nominations and 3 wins all in their first year. Successfully breaking into the narrative feature film market while generating revenue and securing distribution deals within such a small window is unprecedented in the film making community. (less)
