MOVE-IN HAS BEGUN!  WE ARE BUSY ONSITE AT THE SANDS PREPARING THE SHOW FLOOR FOR ALL OF YOUR ARRIVALS.  MANY OF THESE ITEMS BELOW WILL BE IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW UPON YOUR ARRIVAL IN LAS VEGAS.  HAVE A SAFE AND EASY TRIP AND WE’LL SEE YOU SOON.

RENEWING YOUR BOOTH FOR THE 2017 SHOT SHOW
Show Management recently sent an email to all exhibitors, communicating the renewal process for the 2017 SHOT Show. If you did not receive an email, please contact Show Management by emailing salesmgr@shot.convexx.com and we can assist you with your particular renewal process. Non-NSSF member exhibitors were sent appointment times with the Sales Office in Room 203 to renew your booth. You can find those appointment times at http://shotshow.org/2017-booth-renewal-appointments/. If you are an NSSF member, a link to your renewal contract was sent to you and you can renew online before coming to the show. In fact, about half of those provided the link have already renewed their booth space for the 2017 SHOT Show. If you have any questions, please contact Show Management. Our goal is to make the show as easy as possible for you. Please let us help.

PICK UP YOUR TICKETS TO THE STATE OF THE INDUSTRY DINNER
State of the Industry Dinner tickets may be picked up through Sunday at the VIP Registration Desk (Level 1) or Monday and Tuesday at the State of the Industry Desk in the Level 2 Lobby. If you have questions, please call the Show Office at 702-691-8508. This event is sold out, so tickets will not be available for purchase onsite. 

DOWNLOAD THE SHOT SHOW MOBILE APP 
The 2016 SHOT Show Mobile app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, as well as a mobile web version for Microsoft and Blackberry through www.shotmobile.com.  All information in your exhibitor dashboard syncs with the mobile app, including digital upgrades, so make sure all your information is up to date.

RULES REGARDING THE SANDS FRONT DRIVEWAY
We understand the front driveway of the Sands Expo Center is a convenient spot to pick up and drop off people, but please know that it cannot be a drop-off location for your freight. This is a limited access point, and there is absolutely no parking allowed in the front of the building. Exhibitors dropping off freight that requires the assistance of a roller cart will need to utilize the Freeman POV service located just one block further down Sands Avenue. You will see signs directing you to the POV Staging Area beginning this Saturday, Jan. 17. Please take advantage of this service and respect the rules in place with the Sands Expo Center.

LAS VEGAS & SHOT SHOW WELCOME UBER AND LYFT
Uber, Lyft and other transportation network companies are now operating in Las Vegas. Be sure to pay special attention to pop-up messages within the apps as pickup locations are restricted in Las Vegas. Visit our transportation page for more information. Download the Lyft app and use the code SHOTSHOW to receive up to $50 in ride credit. Or enjoy your first Uber ride for free (up to $15) by signing up or downloading the Uber app and entering the promo code SHOTSHOW before requesting your first ride.

GREAT TOOL TO HAVE ON YOUR PHONE AT THE SHOW -- FREEMAN’S MOBILE APP
The Freeman Concierge mobile app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play for free to all SHOT Show exhibitors. Once the app has been downloaded, simply log in to view the status of all your Freeman orders. Exhibitors can also enroll in a free texting program that will tell notify them of all your order status updates and allow placement of new orders for Freeman services. CLEAN-FLOOR POLICY -- SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY
In order to expedite the move-in process for all exhibitors and fluid movement of crates/boxes in and out of the exhibit halls, we are asking for your assistance in following the Clean Floor Policy being initiated this year. Based on your location and target time, each exhibitor is designated a time to have all crates emptied and labeled for removal. These times have been communicated to you by Freeman in advance. This applies only to crates. Cardboard, fiber cases and access storage materials do not need to be labeled for pick-up by Freeman until Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. Have any questions or need any assistance? Contact your floor manager or Freeman Concierge or Freight Supervisor.

SHIPPING SMALL PACKAGES DIRECTLY TO THE SHOW VIA UPS OR FEDEX?
Please be aware that small packages shipped through an air carrier directly to the Sands Expo Center must be processed and delivered by Freeman. The Sands Expo Center does not accept packages. Hundreds of packages arrive each day, necessitating a significant effort to sort and deliver them.  Striving to provide the best customer service possible to our exhibitors, Freeman will deliver incoming packages as soon as possible, but will only guarantee delivery by 8 a.m. the following morning.  For your reference, the shipping address of the Sands Expo Center is 201 Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89169. Be sure to label it c/o Freeman and indicate the exhibitor’s name and booth number.  As an alternative, it may be more prudent (and possibly less expensive), to have packages addressed and mailed to your hotel. We recommend you check with your hotels and inquire about their policies relating to packages.

NEW PRODUCT CENTER ENTRIES
If you have entered a product into the New Products Center, be sure to drop the product off either Sunday afternoon or on Monday. The New Products Center is located by the lobby on the Level 1 of the Sands. Entries must be delivered by 5 p.m. on Monday. Please note that it is not too late to have your product included in the 2016 New Product Center. Simply go to the New Product Center and speak with the associates there and they can help. Questions? WHAT TO DO IF YOU WITNESS SOMEONE SUITCASING 
"Suitcasers" are people who represent a company that is eligible to exhibit but does not.  They walk the aisles with information on their products and vie for the attention of buyers that are there to see you!  This activity is strictly prohibited and suitcasers will be ejected from the show and banned from future shows. Protect your investment and report suitcasers to security immediately.  The more information you can provide the better. The phone number for the Security Command Post will be 702-691-8522.

As a reminder, please be sure to be cognizant of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) while conducting business at the SHOT Show.
