The Cody Firearms Museum is a part of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. It houses one of the largest collections of firearms in the country, interpreting over 800 years of international history. About 200,000 people a year visit the museum, ranging from the enthusiast to the novice on firearms. In July 2019, the museum reopened after a major renovation.
