Originally developed for the Swedish military, Woolpower merino wool clothing was born in 1972 with one thing in mind: to keep soldiers warm and safe. Harsh conditions and limited resources proved to be critical factors threatening a soldier's survival in the depths of winter. Woolpower worked together with soldiers, scientists and manufacturers to develop a garment that conquered these obstacles. A premium thermal layering system was born.
