I am Cayla Mattea Zeek and I have lived in Louisiana all my life. My artistic process began as a youngster with paintings of birds and reading tons of books. Presently, I have taken my love for puns and my feathered friends to make designs for greeting cards. My work is often characterized by mixed media layering process with ink/watercolor on paper. While I tend to gather inspirations from my many travels, being an avid bird lover in south Louisiana has really taken hold of my heart and mind in my creative process. (less)
